Lin Yang<\/h2><\/div>

YiShuiKong Founder<\/h3><\/div>

Born in Beijing. 5th generation inheritor of Yin Family BaGuaZhang. Chairperson, Asian Arts & Culture Association (AACA), Utah.<\/p>\n

Lin Yang began practicing qigong and Tai Chi in middle school, arriving in Japan in 1992. She studied Craft and Culture at Tokyo Kasei Gakuin University and completed her graduate studies in Art Education at Tokyo Gakugei University. During this time, she discovered a connection between the breathing practice she had inherited and art education \u2014 a discovery she came to call “rediscovery of bodily sensation.”<\/p>\n

In 2003, she received transmission of Yin Family BaGuaZhang under her teacher Wang Shangzhi, becoming its 5th generation inheritor. Drawing on years of training and research, she developed the YiShuiKong Method \u2014 systematized as the Seven Stars, which deepen from the foundations of Body, Breath, and Mind into Depth, Breadth, Beauty, and Mastery.<\/p>\n

Based in Utah since 2008. Active as an instructor and educator across Japan, China, and the United States for over 20 years.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Yin Family BaGuaZhang<\/h2><\/div>

BaGuaZhang is one of the three major forms of Chinese internal martial arts. Arising from long and sometimes mystical traditions, the internal martial arts build upon spiritual, mental or qi-related aspects, while external arts focus on physical motion. One of the three forms, Tai Chi, is well-known in the western world. Almost unknown is BaGuaZhang, however, some experienced practitioners see it having the greater ultimate impact.<\/p>\n

Yin Family BaGuaZhang, also known as \u201cMartial Art of the Emperor,\u201d was developed by Master Yin Fu at the Qing Dynasty Palace and taught to the Emperor. Since then, it has been passed down among select masters tied to a few royal families. Only during the past several years was it meaningfully introduced outside China.<\/p>\n

Within Master Wang\u2019s direct lineage, Lin Yang is recognized as one of his most trusted inheritors and a pioneering figure who introduced and transmitted Yin Style Baguazhang in both Japan and the United States. She continues to preserve and share this authentic art in both countries with sincerity and dedication.<\/p>\n
