While competing in physique beauty contests, I constantly questioned the nature of true beauty as I confronted my body, realizing that external beauty—though achievable through effort—is fleeting; I therefore resolved to cultivate genuine inner beauty that truly captivates others. When I first met Master Hayashi—whose unwavering inner axis and graceful presence seemed to hold all the answers—I felt the core strength and elegance I had long sought.

Although I understood intellectually how to guide myself toward my true center, I hadn’t known the proper way until now; today, I can effortlessly return to my rightful place, witnessing my breath and feeling my connection to the earth.
