80s / 25 years with Yishuikong

1. What brought you to Yishuikong A friend invited me: "For your health, please, come with me!" It was a happy meeting.

2. The main reason you have kept going I have taken breaks along the way, and the reason I could still keep going is the fine character of the teachers who taught me and the kindness of the people practising beside me. It is not only the technique of Yishuikong that holds me, but the richness of spirit in it.

3. What has changed most I used to dread moving my body in front of other people. I have been bad at anything like dance since I was six or seven. Thanks to how enjoyable qigong is, that has gradually become alright. It also made me notice how much breathing matters, and the presence of "qi."

4. What has been good about continuing Receiving good "qi," and always being able to learn the value of what cannot be seen.

5. What Yishuikong is to you The body wears down as it ages, but I hope to make up for that with spirit, to be allowed to stay among everyone as far as I am able, and to keep going even with breaks.

6. To anyone thinking of starting Don't forget your respect for the teachers who teach you. Value the people you learn beside, and please keep going.

7. The form you like Usually I move by imitating what the teacher does. But when I notice that each form has a name and a meaning, its depth moves me.

Lately my body has grown crooked and does not move as I would like. Still, being among the teachers and the others settles my heart, and I feel happy.
